Common troubleshooting
Alarm access: Ensure WakeProof has Alarm authorization in Settings.
Speech challenge: Enable Speech Recognition and Microphone permissions in Settings.
Boss Mode: Type the wake phrase, repeat the memory sequence, and solve the focus check before Stop alarm unlocks.
Stand or roll challenge: Pair an Apple Watch and grant Health access for stand-hour or roll-hour samples.
QR room-check challenge: Grant Camera access and scan the QR code configured for that alarm.
Body pose challenge: Use a physical iPhone camera, keep shoulders and hips visible, and complete the required rise checks. Body-pose detection runs on device with Vision.
Object check challenge: Use a physical iPhone camera and show the configured object, such as a toothbrush, coffee mug, or door. Vision image classification runs on device, requires two consecutive confident matches, and frames are not saved or uploaded.
Steps mission: Grant Motion and Fitness access, then walk until the required step count is reached.
NFC tag mission: Use a physical iPhone and an NDEF NFC tag whose text matches the saved tag text. NFC scans run only while the app is open and the mission is active.
One-time alarms: Quick nap alarms fire once at the displayed date and time, then are disabled after they fire, expire, or are cleared.
Timer: The timer runs only while the app is open. Use Open one-time alarm to carry the selected timer duration into a schedulable quick nap alarm, or use a routine alarm when you need a scheduled iOS alert.
